How Does #Donate2Hounds Work?
This program allows a rescue groupâs supporters, followers, and volunteers the opportunity to give back in a big way. The best part? When an individual purchases for a group through the #DonateDecember program, 2 Hounds matches the donation PLUS one!
Hereâs how it works:

Your supporters can choose from Harness and training leash sets, nylon collars and leashes, or nylon collars only.

For every 3 items your supporters donate, we donate an additional 4âfor a total of 7!

For every 6 items your supporters donate, we donate an additional 7âfor a total of 13!

Send an email to your engaged adopters and donors and ask them for help.  You can use this page as a kickoff point to explain how it works!

PLEASE be sure you include your mailing address and contact information so we can get your donated goodies sent to the right place!

X-stitch Construction using bonded nylon thread (wonât break down in sunlight or when it gets wet)

Neutral collars will be Black, Brown, Red, Royal Blue, etc. Masculine will be Blues, Greens, Black, etc. Feminine colors will be Pinks, Burgundy, Purple, etc. If we pick, we will pick a mixture of masculine and feminine.
Works the same as the Freedom Harness, for groups who use Martingales, Buckle Martingales, or Side Release (Buckle) Collars.  Check with your group to verify the type of collar they prefer!

FAQ from Donors
When you purchase through our #Donate2Hounds/DonateDecember program, we ship direct to the group and add all of the bonus "goodies" in the same box.  Once you purchase, your job is over!
In order to streamline the process and ensure the donations make it safely to the correct department/loaction, all #DonateDecember orders are always sent direct to the group!
Reach out to them through social media, website, or phone, if possible. Some groups even have their addresses listed on their websites. Also, you are welcome to email us at woof@2houndsdesign.com. We may already have the group's information on file.
There are lots of ways you can help even if you can't donate this year (or even if you have already donated this year!)

Share on Social Media - a few tips, include images or video, that grabs attention! Â

Tell your group about it and encourage them to reach out to other adopters (or volunteer to help them reach out to other adopters).  Share the example posts and example emails!

Tell your friends and family!  If you are like me and hard to shop for, ask for a donation to your favorite group for Christmas! Â

Volunteer at the shelter!  Time is valuable, getting dogs out of kennels and on walks will help them with the stress of waiting for their forever family.  Evaluating how the dogs behave and react to the world around them helps groups know what help a dog may need to become more adoptable!

The most common sizes for humane societies and shelters are medium and large. Some groups, however, may have a specific size need. You can always reach out to the group directly.
After you finalize the donation order, we'll email you the store credit code.  This is a manual process, so if you don't receive your gift card within 1-2 business days, please reach out to Customer Service through our Contact Page!
FAQ from Groups/Rescues
We've got you covered! ALL groups are eligible to receive donations!  Just make sure you share your shipping and contact information when you send out the request for donations so your donors know where to have the boxes sent!
No sign-up is neededâall you need to do is spread the word! Also, let your supporters know what size(s) you prefer and provide your mailing address and contact information. All donation orders are shipped directly to the groups.
Great news! All rescue groups qualify for wholesale pricing, which is half the cost of retail. We also have no minimum order requirements. You can apply for an account here:  Wholesale Registration
