Before 2 Hounds Design ever made its first harness, our founder Alisha was fostering dogs and walking rescues. She knows the chaos, the hope, and the heartbreak — and she also knows this:
Dogs in rescue need food and medical care. They also need gear. Because a dog who’s hard to walk is harder to adopt. That’s why every December, we go all in — and with your help, we send even more.
More than 250 rescue and adoption groups have already benefited from this program. Add yours to the list.
How Does #Donate2Hounds Work?
This program allows a rescue group’s supporters, followers, and volunteers the opportunity to give back in a big way. The best part? When an individual purchases for a group through the #DonateDecember program, 2 Hounds matches the donation PLUS one!
Here’s how it works:

Your supporters can choose from Harness and training leash sets, nylon collars and leashes, or nylon collars only.

For every 3 items your supporters donate, we donate an additional 4—for a total of 7!

For every 6 items your supporters donate, we donate an additional 7—for a total of 13!
Bonus Goodies
We’re also including three "Adopt Me" Bandanas with orders through this program!
These bandanas can help your adoptable dogs stand out and find their forever homes.
ALSO, while supplies lasts, each group will receive extra collars, leashes, or harnesses!
PLUS, every supporter/donor who orders through this program will receive a $15 gift certificate to use on a future 2 Hounds Design order.

Create a Social Media post or a video asking for their help with instructions and a link

Send an email to your engaged adopters and donors and ask them for help. You can use this page as a kickoff point to explain how it works!

PLEASE be sure you include your mailing address and contact information so we can get your donated goodies sent to the right place!

"This holiday season, you can make a difference for our adoptable dogs through the #DonateDecember program! For every 3 items you donate, 2 Hounds Design will add an additional 4—that’s 7 total! When you purchase through our #Donate2Hounds/DonateDecember program, we ship direct to the group and add all of the bonus "goodies" in the same box. Once you purchase, your job is over!
In order to streamline the process and ensure the donations make it safely to the correct department/loaction, all #DonateDecember orders are always sent direct to the group!
