No force, no pain.  Just an enjoyable walk with your dog!

Clear

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a patented control loop on the back of the harness which tightens gently around your dog’s chest to discourage pulling behavior and makes walking your dog an easy, more enjoyable experience for both of you.  It also features a structural connection ring on the front of the harness.  Connecting to this ring is optional, but recommended, as it allows you to attach to the front and back of the harness simultaneously.  Used this way, you are able to control pulling and redirect your dog’s attention back to you for training and treats.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a Swiss velvet-lined chest strap to help prevent rubbing and chafing behind the front legs.  The stainless steel hardware used on the harness will never rust or corrode, and the webbing can literally be used to tow cars.  It will not break or fray, no matter how hard your dog pulls.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness is designed to fit any dog from 14 lbs all the way up to 250+ lbs.

Sizing

It comes in two widths:

5/8” for smaller dogs under 40 lbs – Dachshunds, Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, Jack Russel Terriers, Beagles, Miniature Schnauzers, etc.

1” for larger dogs over 40 lbs – Boxers, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Greyhounds, German Shepherds, Basset Hounds, Pit Bulls, Great Danes, etc.

To measure your dog for the harness, use a soft measuring tape (or a piece of string) and measure all the way around the largest part of your dog’s chest.  Choose the SMALLEST size that fits within that measurement.

Multiple Leash Attachment Options!

Training Leash

The training leash is designed to be used in conjunction with the Freedom No-Pull Harness. It provides additional control points, which evenly distributes pressure.  It has a permanently attached “floating” handle, allowing the leash to be used in multiple configurations:

  • Connect to the front and the back of the harness simultaneously.
  • Connect to just the front or the back of the harness.
  • Connect to the harness and a collar at the same time.

When connected to two points the training leash is 3′ long including the floating handle, and 4′ long when attached to a single point.  As the name suggests, this shorter leash is especially useful for training.

Euro Leash

The Euro leash is just like the training leash but is 6′ long when connected to both attachments, and 8′ long when connected to a single point.  The handle is removable and can be used separately. The Euro leash can be used in the following configurations:

  • 8″ Traffic handle all by itself.
  • Fold leash in half. Clip one end of leash to your dog’s collar or harness and the other end to the stationary ring. Clip the Traffic Handle to the floating ring. This makes a 4′ lead.
  • To create a 2 foot leash, continue from step two, slide the floating O-ring towards you and reconnect it to the bolt snap that is connected to your dog’s collar.
  • Place lead around shoulder/back and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands-free lead.
  • Place lead around waist and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands-free lead.
  • To keep your dog close and safe while sitting stationary with him/her, simply attach leash to your dog and wrap the handle end of leash around a pole, fence post, railing or small tree and attach both snaps in the handle to the floating o-ring. (use this method only while remaining with your dog)

Nylon Leash

The nylon leash is a standard 4′ or 6′ leash with one connection and an adjustable handle.

Proudly made in the USA!

You can wash it in the washing machine by placing the harness in a pillow case and using the gentle cycle OR place the harness in a sink filled with cold water and detergent.  Let it soak and rinse it well.  Always air dry your harness.

Best purchase we ever made for our greyhound(s). Our adoption group recommended the Freedom No Pull Harness when we adopted our first girl in 2010. We quickly saw an improvement in her pulling on the leash within a couple of walks with the harness, and have had similar experiences with the other hounds we’ve bought this harness for over the years. A note on the durability, we used the same harness for our girl from the day we brought her home to the day we had to let her go due to bone cancer at the end of 2018. After almost 9 years, the Neon Pink had faded a bit, but functionally the harness was still in great shape and only needed minor adjustments to the fit through the years as her weight changed. We’re definitely going to be buying these harnesses for all of our hounds going forward!

Perfect fit! Hard to believe the puppy we brought home in September weighing 11 pounds and wore a small size is now 51 pounds and wears a large size. She loves going for walks in her hot pink harness. No one mistakes her for a boy!!! Great product – great design. Thank you

It’s great to be able to adjust this harness at multiple points. The fit is great and the velvet belly strap is so soft. The quality and durability of this harness is unmatched! After ordering, I immediately wanted to recommend them to our training students.

    Harrietta Hound-ini Proof!

We have an incredibly skittish greyhound who managed to get out of her both her original martingale collar and harness (neither are from 2HD) multiple times. I’ve owned dogs my whole life, I was a professional animal sitter for 7 years, and I currently volunteer at the rescue where we got both of our ex-racing greyhounds, so I figured that our initial setup was fine. I’d never had issues before.
Was it fine? No. No, It wasn’t. Baby girl panicked and she spent 30 minutes running around the neighborhood and nearly jumped the fence to the freeway before someone she decided that people were safe again. (There is no “catching a greyhound.”)
In response as any other 30 year old nerd would do, I turned to reddit and another user from r/greyhounds said to try 2Hounds. I cannot tell you how grateful we are that we bought a harness and Euro leash from 2HD. First of all, it got here REALLY FAST. And more importantly, it’s completely changed everything about our family walks. SeeSee clearly feels more comfortable and secure in her freedom harness. We know from the experience of her trying to “NOPE!” out of it the one and only time that she’s tried that she can’t get out. No more Harrietta Hound-ini. And the added security of the double attachment leash is just awesome. (Double bonus–our dogs aren’t getting as tangled up together on walks anymore either now that we use the double connection leash.)
We’re also finding that SeeSee’s lollygagging behavior is starting to get a little better since we started using this new setup–probably because of the martingale loop on the back of the harness. I’m thinking that when the back leash loop tightens (just a little bit, I’m not saying we’re yanking on her AT ALL), she wants to move away from the pressure and moves forward more quickly than her previous pace. So another point for the freedom harness. Did I also mention that it’s waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay easier to get on than our old harness? Because of the way that the belt clips are reversed from one another on each side, you can’t get it all twisted, so we can get it on her a lot faster and it’s clearly more comfortable for her to wear without the nylon getting all dumb and wonky. (Freedom harness also has the velvet on it and our old one didn’t. The old one just had the nylon and that made poor baby girl’s chest bald…)
So, would I buy another one of these harnesses? 100%. Would I recommend it to another owner? 100%. Do I wish they had cuter reflective colors rather than just the two current ones that aren’t very exciting. Yes…

On behalf of SeeSee and our family, thank you for an awesome product 2Hounds!

    Hard to fit

This harness is hard to fit on a small a small dog. Ours is 7 lbs and even making the XS as small as possible, it does not fit. It is very frustrating and we cannot use it.

Yes unfortunately the Freedom Harness fits dogs that are a little bigger than your girl. We are developing a smaller line for the little guys though!

    A GREAT Harness!!

    Matthew Farinelli (verified owner)

It was suggested to us by our dog trainer to look into a harness style leash for our 4 month old goldendoodle, Meringue. I always hated walking her with a simple neck collar as her puppy-curiosity always led her to pull. This Freedom Harness has been a huge blessing – no more pulling and the gentle body “hug” it gives when she tries to pull tells her to stop and stay close to me. She gave me no fuss whatsoever the first time tried it on her and it was fairly easy to get fitted within a few minutes. The high quality nylon straps are solid and make me think that this harness will last for a long time. The adjustable, two latch leash is perfect for keeping her close or letting her roam a bit and the option to have either a front connection or a back connection (or both!) leaves a lot of flexibility for walking or running. Definitely worth every penny spent on it!!

    Great Harness

These are great harnesses and fit greyhounds very well. I needed a second one for my second greyt. The only thing I wasn’t so happy with was the color. It is actually more orangey than expected, so it doesn’t match with the velvet part of the harness.

I’ve been using these harnesses for my rescue terrier-mix for over 4 years. She’s an active girl so we wear through about one per year. They are easy to put on, take off, and adjust. The pink is a great, eye catching power color.

Well, I have 2 hounds, and my 80 black mouth cur pulls so hard she bent the pins on a choke collar…put this harness on her and she would get to a slight pull and back off… 100% recommend this product

A tine on one of the latches of my five-year-old, 2 Hounds harness snapped off two weeks ago. This order replaces that harness, and I’m as pleased now as I have been for the past five years! Akiko and I thank you!

Your freedom harness has been a miracle! I had shoulder surgery after being in a car accident so a jumping, pulling puppy was not ideal. Layla walks so much better now with this harness! We can actually enjoys our walks together! Thank you so much!!

    Love this harness

It is so easy to put on everyday. Much easier than any other harness, I’ve used. My hubby walks our pittie without using both the hooks for pull and I always use both hooks. So either way you use it, it works great!

This is my second harness- leash set: my mini labradoodle outgrew the first harness and I wanted a Euro leash for the beach.
This harness is so well made and comfy. My Mia loves having it put on her. And it is truly a humane harness- the velvet under side is such a great idea. And customer service is what you would expect from an American company dedicated to making the lives of dogs and their guardians mutually enriched. Mia is about 22 pounds and the XS fits but snugly so the S fits her more comfortably FYI.

    Return buyer, love these harnesses!

Got a new color for my dog, this is the best harness! I literally tell everyone about them. They are so easy to put on and don’t require having to move dogs legs around to get the harness on (like most standard harnesses). Durable, color lasts, and I like that the under arm part of the harness is velvety so it doesn’t irritate them.
