No force, no pain.  Just an enjoyable walk with your dog.  Strap placement may differ from harness in picture.

Clear

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a patented control loop on the back of the harness which tightens gently around your dog’s chest to discourage pulling behavior and makes walking your dog an easy, more enjoyable experience for both of you.  It also features a structural connection ring on the front of the harness.  Connecting to this ring is optional, but recommended, as it allows you to attach to the front and back of the harness simultaneously.  Used this way, you are able to control pulling and redirect your dog’s attention back to you for training and treats.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a Swiss velvet-lined chest strap to help prevent rubbing and chafing behind the front legs.  The stainless steel hardware used on the harness will never rust or corrode, and the webbing can literally be used to tow cars.  It will not break or fray, no matter how hard your dog pulls.

This harness is a “Jelly Bean” style, meaning every strap is a different color. Training Leash (if selected) will match the colors in the harness.  Euro Leash (if selected) will be all one color. We are not able to customize the strap colors on the harness, each one is different. The harness you receive may not have the same color combinations as the one pictured.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness is designed to fit any dog from 14 lbs all the way up to 250+ lbs.

Sizing

It comes in two widths:

5/8” for smaller dogs under 40 lbs – Dachshunds, Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, Jack Russel Terriers, Beagles, Miniature Schnauzers, etc.

1” for larger dogs over 40 lbs – Boxers, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Greyhounds, German Shepherds, Basset Hounds, Pit Bulls, Great Danes, etc.

To measure your dog for the harness, use a soft measuring tape (or a piece of string) and measure all the way around the largest part of your dog’s chest.  Choose the SMALLEST size that fits within that measurement.

Multiple Leash Attachment Options!

Training Leash

The training leash is designed to be used in conjunction with the Freedom No-Pull Harness. It provides additional control points, which evenly distributes pressure.  It has a permanently attached “floating” handle, allowing the leash to be used in multiple configurations:

  • Connect to the front and the back of the harness simultaneously.
  • Connect to just the front or the back of the harness.
  • Connect to the harness and a collar at the same time.

When connected to two points the training leash is 3′ long including the floating handle, and 4′ long when attached to a single point.  As the name suggests, this shorter leash is especially useful for training.

Euro Leash

The Euro leash is just like the training leash but is 6′ long when connected to both attachments, and 8′ long when connected to a single point.  The handle is removable and can be used separately. The Euro leash can be used in the following configurations:

  • 8″ Traffic handle all by itself.
  • Fold leash in half. Clip one end of leash to your dog’s collar or harness and the other end to the stationary ring. Clip the Traffic Handle to the floating ring. This makes a 4′ lead.
  • To create a 2 foot leash, continue from step two, slide the floating O-ring towards you and reconnect it to the bolt snap that is connected to your dog’s collar.
  • Place lead around shoulder/back and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands-free lead.
  • Place lead around waist and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands-free lead.
  • To keep your dog close and safe while sitting stationary with him/her, simply attach leash to your dog and wrap the handle end of leash around a pole, fence post, railing or small tree and attach both snaps in the handle to the floating o-ring. (use this method only while remaining with your dog)

Nylon Leash

The nylon leash is a standard 4′ or 6′ leash with one connection and an adjustable handle.

Proudly made in the USA!

You can wash it in the washing machine by placing the harness in a pillow case and using the gentle cycle OR place the harness in a sink filled with cold water and detergent.  Let it soak and rinse it well.  Always air dry your harness.

    Not all that I hoped

This is a lovely harness and I like the construction, fit and fabric. We tried the connection at the front and on the back. This did not prevent her from pulling. We then just shifted to the single connection point on the back and this seems to work a bit better. We continue to work with her and will continue to use the harness – we already bought the ‘last harness you’ll ever buy’ prior to this. This may be the last one because we will give up on finding something that works better than consistent and persistent training.

Prior to using this harness, our dog would run away when it was time to get ready for a walk. He HATED his previous harness. Since switching the the 2 hounds harness, we have no longer had this problem. He doesn’t mind getting ready for walks anymore. AND he can no longer chew on/through the front of his harness. Not to mention it is adorable. We love it and get so many compliments.

It is a good leash. I don’t think it stops pulling but it is comfortable for my dog and easy to get on or off. Looks good. Happy with the purchase

I use the freedom no pull harness on my 2 year old Boston Terrier so when I got a puppy, I ordered one for him. I got the XS which I know he will outgrow as he is going to be a bigger Boston than my other one. However, my older Boston wears a XS so he will inherit this colorful one when his younger brother outgrows it. I already have a purple size S that I used on my rescue Boston who crossed the rainbow bridge back in November so the puppy will get that one when he outgrows the XS so we are covered! 🙂 I am glad I found these harnesses-my 2 year old is a puller and I tried so many harnesses and collars with no change until I got the freedom harness. He pulls so much less now, especially if I just use the front ring. I love the velvet under straps for comfort. This harness is really nice for summer as it doesn’t cover up much of the body so the pups don’t get too hot. These harnesses are great and I recommend them to everyone who has dogs that pull.

I just love this harness! The colors are amazing. I love that a bright neon color was added to the more traditional boy colors. My greyhound looks so amazing in it

The harness is easy to adjust to fit, doesn’t slip, reduces pulling, and is easy to get on/off the dog. All positive from my view.

My dog pulls a lot, and the harness and leash feels a little too lightweight. The orange in the harness is more of an intense red neon; and the leash we were given was black and brown, which just looks sad as a whole. I loved the color combination in the photo but in reality the shades are different

Works wonderfully! I had been having a hard time finding a harness that fit my dog well. She is a large dog but is pretty narrow. This harness works with her body shape very well, and I appreciate the simplicity of it. I had used a wonder walker harness on her in the past, and it would rub on her armpits. I love that this harness has a velvet strap underneath, and it does not rub her at all! The Martingale strap also makes an enormous difference, which is something the wonder walker harness was lacking. I have coupled this harness use with leash training, and it is amazing how quickly it has stopped my dog from pulling. Many people hope that the “perfect” harness will completely solve their dog’s pulling problem. I don’t think that harness exists, but this one has been an enormous help in teaching my dog to walk well.

    Bonnie and Clyde can’t escape.

    Thomas Bradford Thiriot (verified owner)

This is the third set of harnesses I’ve purchased for Bonnie and Clyde. These harnesses allow our walks to be 100% more peaceful than when we first brought them home. B & C are rescues that alluded the animal control for two days. Clyde is a RAD, reactive aggressive dog, and coupled with training, these harnesses have allowed easier and smoother control when they triggered on a walk. Adjusting the harness takes some time to get it right at first. Once you have found the perfect fit, you’re good to go. B & C both sit and move there heads into the harness when getting ready for a walk. Best product ever. Thank you.

This is a very well made and great fitting harness. Quality is superior. Unfortunately it did not work for what I needed it for. My dog does not pull but he is a hound and when he fixates on something or wants to go a different way, he stops and won’t move. I was hoping that this would help me to move him. Kind of a reverse. I’m doing the pulling. It does not work for him. I tried the front and top and that was just clumsy.

A much more affordable and effective solution to our pulling problems! I had spent many hours on expensive training sessions to no avail. Our puppy pulled on every walk – this harness immediately changed that! Walks are SO MUCH more enjoyable! we currently use the training leash – but may switch to the euro 2 point leash soon. I cannot say enough great things about this harness and leash system! 10/10 highly recommend!

We ordered a size M for our 52 pound pitty and it fits perfectly. The velvet material that sits in the “arm pit” area protects areas where most harnesses will chafe. We love it!

The Solution to Our Pulling Problem!

This harness was an immediate fix to our dog’s pulling problems! Before this harness we couldn’t take our pup hiking, or to the beach, because it was just too challenging. But now we can go anywhere! He always keeps an eye on us because of the front leash attachment and it’s helped tremendously with our bonding on adventures.

My little old man LG (beagle mix) is turning 16! His old harness had gotten a little snug so I purchased a size up. The only width is 1″, wish it was smaller but they aren’t made smaller. The harness is a just a bit large but is fits better than the Freedom medium harness he had been wearing.
My little guy has Cushing’s and he still chugging along even after being misdiagnosed three years ago.

I’ve been using Freedom No Pull harnesses for years on all my Labs and now my rescue dogs. I recently got another Lab puppy after my 15 year old Lab, True, died in July. I ordered the small Jelly Bean, which is still too big, but know that it will help my training schedule. He’ll outgrow it fairly quickly, in which time I’ll donate it to a rescue group.

We were really excited about this harness after reading all of the wonderful reviews about it. After about two weeks our dog started to lose and get small abrasions where the harness connected the velvet strap to the nylon strap. We ensured that the harness fit correctly and was not too tight or too lose to result in chaffing so we were not expecting this issue.

Ultimately we stopped using the harness and switched to a different brand which we have had zero issues with. We’re bummed this didn’t work for us and our dog.

My black lab looks so handsome in this colorful harness. Shipping was so fast and the quality of the harness and leash is top notch! I could not decide on a color, that is why I chose the jellybean spice, LOL. My boy seems very comfortable wearing it and it was easy to fit.

We love the Freedom No-Pull Harness and both the Euro Leash and the Training Leash. Our American Foxhound rescue came with a size medium (that’s how we knew about it), and we just upgraded to Large. Our Pit Bull/Golden Retriever mix also has one (Large). These are the BEST leashes for walking a dog who pulls, especially if you walk them on mountain trails like we do. We don’t want to risk getting pulled down the mountain on the descent. We were worried that the double leash would get tangled, but the dogs quickly learned to step out any loops.

The only challenge was learning to orient the harness correctly to get it on the dog. There is a bit of a learning curve here. At first we would end up backwards and upside down, but after being worn for awhile, the harnesses take on the shape of the dog and are easier to orient. The big advantage to the Jelly Bean multicolored harness is that you can remember which colors go on the left and right!

I have recommended this harness to many people we have met on the trail!

Our Afghan Hound, Chauncey, accepted this harness right away and after a couple of minutes, seemed to instinctively know how to follow in it. It didn’t seem to stress him out either and there was no tugging or pulling. We love the fun and casual feel of the jellybean spice colors and the versatility of the euro leash, although after years on a retractable leash, we will need to kind of work on our techinique. Chuancey give it two dew claws up.

    Harness Broke easily

We love the harness but our dog wore it the 2nd time and had chewed through the front strap in less than a minute when I walked away. The other 2 harnesses for our English Mastiff and Bull Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier mix are working great. Disappointed that they are not sturdier because the dog that chewed his harness is our older guy.
