No force, no pain.  Just an enjoyable walk with your dog!

Clear

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a patented control loop on the back of the harness which tightens gently around your dog’s chest to discourage pulling behavior and makes walking your dog an easy, more enjoyable experience for both of you.  It also features a structural connection ring on the front of the harness.  Connecting to this ring is optional, but recommended, as it allows you to attach to the front and back of the harness simultaneously.  Used this way, you are able to control pulling and redirect your dog’s attention back to you for training and treats.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a Swiss velvet-lined chest strap to help prevent rubbing and chafing behind the front legs.  The stainless steel hardware used on the harness will never rust or corrode, and the webbing can literally be used to tow cars.  It will not break or fray, no matter how hard your dog pulls.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness is designed to fit any dog from 14 lbs all the way up to 250+ lbs.

Sizing

It comes in two widths:

5/8” for smaller dogs under 40 lbs – Dachshunds, Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, Jack Russel Terriers, Beagles, Miniature Schnauzers, etc.

1” for larger dogs over 40 lbs – Boxers, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Greyhounds, German Shepherds, Basset Hounds, Pit Bulls, Great Danes, etc.

To measure your dog for the harness, use a soft measuring tape (or a piece of string) and measure all the way around the largest part of your dog’s chest.  Choose the SMALLEST size that fits within that measurement.

Multiple Leash Attachment Options!

Training Leash

The training leash is designed to be used in conjunction with the Freedom No-Pull Harness. It provides additional control points, which evenly distributes pressure.  It has a permanently attached “floating” handle, allowing the leash to be used in multiple configurations:

  • Connect to the front and the back of the harness simultaneously.
  • Connect to just the front or the back of the harness.
  • Connect to the harness and a collar at the same time.

When connected to two points the training leash is 3′ long including the floating handle, and 4′ long when attached to a single point.  As the name suggests, this shorter leash is especially useful for training.

Euro Leash

The Euro leash is just like the training leash but is 6′ long when connected to both attachments, and 8′ long when connected to a single point.  The handle is removable and can be used separately. The Euro leash can be used in the following configurations:

  • 8″ Traffic handle all by itself.
  • Fold leash in half. Clip one end of leash to your dog’s collar or harness and the other end to the stationary ring. Clip the Traffic Handle to the floating ring. This makes a 4′ lead.
  • To create a 2 foot leash, continue from step two, slide the floating O-ring towards you and reconnect it to the bolt snap that is connected to your dog’s collar.
  • Place lead around shoulder/back and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands-free lead.
  • Place lead around waist and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands-free lead.
  • To keep your dog close and safe while sitting stationary with him/her, simply attach leash to your dog and wrap the handle end of leash around a pole, fence post, railing or small tree and attach both snaps in the handle to the floating o-ring. (use this method only while remaining with your dog)

Nylon Leash

The nylon leash is a standard 4′ or 6′ leash with one connection and an adjustable handle.

Proudly made in the USA!

You can wash it in the washing machine by placing the harness in a pillow case and using the gentle cycle OR place the harness in a sink filled with cold water and detergent.  Let it soak and rinse it well.  Always air dry your harness.

    Great harness, color way off

This is a great harness. It made #3 for us, one for each of our dogs. It’s pretty easy to size and very easy off and on. My only issue is the color was described as neon green. It is not even close, it is a kelly green. I purchased the lead, tags and tag keeper all in neon so it’s very disappointing to not have it all match.

I tried the Freedom No-Pull Harness on my 85-lb. German Shepherd and it was an amazing difference. He is more attentive and well-behaved. He doesn’t pull me along, he actually walks with me! He seems to enjoy our walks much more, too. I’m very satisfied with the Harness.
A friend of mine loaned me hers to test so now I’m here to buy one of my own.

Great new harness for a perfect little(?) lady Greyhound. Great fit and very comfortable for both of us. Matches the Red and Blue harnesses her 2 house brother Greyhounds wear. Have owned and enjoyed the use of these harnesses for over 3 years. I recommend these harnesses to other owners all the time.

Top grade harness, best on the market with plenty of color choices.

This harness works as advertised and by observation has to be the most comfortable harness for a dog. Unfortunately, I cannot get my dogs to comment, they just look at me with those puppy eyes and I go yep, good harness. 🙂

Color is off but love the harness!

We have tried this harness (from a friend) and know it works well and is high-quality. So many dog owner friends of ours love it! We ordered the Neon Green harness and training leash. We took a chance on the color, because it’s called “Neon Green,” but the photo of it in the listing doesn’t really look neon. But it’s neither neon green OR like the photo! We don’t love the color so are exchanging for a different color. Might sound silly but we need to look at it every day. We wish all the harness colors had fully matching leashes. Either way, though, we’re happy to have the 2 Hounds products!

This is the harness to get!

    Phil Wells (verified owner)

I looked at a number of different harnesses (and reviews) when I decided to get the 2 Hounds harness for my greyhound. It worked so well and was so quick & easy to put on and he seemed very comfortable with it so when we adopted a companion greyhound, I had to get one for her, too. Since she’s a smaller lady, I had to get a different size and it fits her perfectly. Thanks 2 Hounds for making such a good product!

    Fits great!

    Erica Brooks (verified owner)

Our 7 month old beagle was getting frustrated with his other harness because of how they slipped over his head. I was looking for something that wasn’t as cumbersome and fit well but was also secure enough so he couldn’t slip out. This harness checked all those boxes for us! He doesn’t try to avoid putting it on, like he had started doing with the other style, and it seems to be a more comfortable fit! We use the double leash sometimes, it’s too short for my husband’s taste, but I like it when we are going on a short walk that I need to keep him close. He’s responding well to the double leash, and has even gotten better with pulling so much that we can hook to the back only and he does great! No other regular, front clip harness has deterred him from pulling until we start using this harness and some time use of the double leash. We love this product! Thank you!

    Much more control

I had been using a regular back attached harness with our 50lb Staffordshire Terrier and I was getting dragged around a bit. This harness has a great adjustable fit and she’s much more responsive with the training leash!
