No force, no pain.  Just an enjoyable walk with your dog!

Clear

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a patented control loop on the back of the harness which tightens gently around your dog’s chest to discourage pulling behavior and makes walking your dog an easy, more enjoyable experience for both of you.  It also features a structural connection ring on the front of the harness.  Connecting to this ring is optional, but recommended, as it allows you to attach to the front and back of the harness simultaneously.  Used this way, you are able to control pulling and redirect your dog’s attention back to you for training and treats.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a Swiss velvet-lined chest strap to help prevent rubbing and chafing behind the front legs.  The stainless steel hardware used on the harness will never rust or corrode, and the webbing can literally be used to tow cars. It will not break or fray, no matter how hard your dog pulls.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness is designed to fit any dog from 14 lbs all the way up to 250+ lbs.

Sizing

It comes in two widths:

5/8” for smaller dogs under 40 lbs – Dachshunds, Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, Jack Russel Terriers, Beagles, Miniature Schnauzers, etc.

1” for larger dogs over 40 lbs – Boxers, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Greyhounds, German Shepherds, Basset Hounds, Pit Bulls, Great Danes, etc.

To measure your dog for the harness, use a soft measuring tape (or a piece of string) and measure all the way around the largest part of your dog’s chest.  Choose the SMALLEST size that fits within that measurement.

Multiple Leash Attachment Options!

Training Leash

The training leash is designed to be used in conjunction with the Freedom No-Pull Harness. It provides additional control points, which evenly distributes pressure.  It has a permanently attached “floating” handle, allowing the leash to be used in multiple configurations:

  • Connect to the front and the back of the harness simultaneously.
  • Connect to just the front or the back of the harness.
  • Connect to the harness and a collar at the same time.

When connected to two points the training leash is 3′ long including the floating handle, and 4′ long when attached to a single point.  As the name suggests, this shorter leash is especially useful for training.

Euro Leash

The Euro leash is just like the training leash but is 6′ long when connected to both attachments, and 8′ long when connected to a single point.  The handle is removable and can be used separately. The Euro leash can be used in the following configurations:

  • 8″ Traffic handle all by itself.
  • Fold leash in half. Clip one end of leash to your dog’s collar or harness and the other end to the stationary ring. Clip the Traffic Handle to the floating ring. This makes a 4′ lead.
  • To create a 2 foot leash, continue from step two, slide the floating O-ring towards you and reconnect it to the bolt snap that is connected to your dog’s collar.
  • Place lead around shoulder/back and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands-free lead.
  • Place lead around waist and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands-free lead.
  • To keep your dog close and safe while sitting stationary with him/her, simply attach leash to your dog and wrap the handle end of leash around a pole, fence post, railing or small tree and attach both snaps in the handle to the floating o-ring. (use this method only while remaining with your dog)

Nylon Leash

The nylon leash is a standard 4′ or 6′ leash with one connection and an adjustable handle.

Proudly made in the USA!

You can wash it in the washing machine by placing the harness in a pillow case and using the gentle cycle OR place the harness in a sink filled with cold water and detergent.  Let it soak and rinse it well.  Always air dry your harness.

Before this harness, my 1 year old GSD was a big puller. She was so excited to be sniffing EVERYTHING on the walks we took that she was dragging me along. On one walk, she pulled so hard that the handle of the leash cut into my hand. The first time I used this harness with the training leash was a huge improvement on her walking. She still had the training leash pulled tight but wasn’t tugging. I used this harness yesterday on my GSD with a dog leash coupler to walk her and my 4 year old lab mix. The only reason it was difficult was because I was now walking 140 pounds of dog instead of 75 pounds! The only downside to this harness is the velvet strap attracts so.much.fur. My GSD is currently blowing her coat so after our walk yesterday that strap was just covered. Other than that, the product arrived in a timely manner, the purple color is beautiful and it fits her exactly right that I almost didn’t have to adjust any of the harness straps. I may upgrade my other 2 dogs to these harnesses for continuity purposes 🙂

Fantastic harness and training leash combo

Our 9 month old puppy, a pit bull mix, looks forward to going for walks now (and so do we). There are only a few verbal corrections now. She only wanted to chew on the leash the first day we used it. We have only had the harness and leash for 5 days. It’s amazing.

    another wasted effort

I was really hoping this harness would work, but it didn’t. The idea is good, and it is very well made. I thought the velvet strap would make a difference in the chafing my dog has experienced with other harnesses. However, after a week, I had to stop using it. My dog just pulls too hard when we see a squirrel or another dog. We really need more training, not another harness.

Hi there! Give us a call, we are happy to help with training tips or anything else that might help you. You are correct that the harness doesn’t take the place of training, it is a training aid, meaning it makes it easier to train your dog. Happy to help if we can! –Alisha

    Beautiful harness, wonderful design

So far this harness has been great for my bully breed mix rescue! It doesn’t appear to irritate his skin the way many do, and I have options for leash attachment. Due to the martingale loop on the back, both front and back attachments help with pulling. Amazing!

This is a great harness. It is easy to use and very comfortable. The two point system helps us control our puppy and makes walking her much more pleasurable. It’s a well made harness and leash. We look forward too many days of good use. Highly recommend this product.

This is our 4th harness as our puppy grew and grew and grew! I also bought and tried several others from the pet stores and some worked out fine but most were a waste of money.

I bought this when my boxer tore her last harness trying to charge for a deer. It was so effective at reducing her pulling that I returned to the website the same day it arrived to replace buy one for my pit bull. He will occasionally walk sideways on a front-clip harness trying to ensure that he’s ahead of his sister!
The material is vividly colored and a feels silky yet sturdy! I’m very happy with this purchase!

    No Pull Harness

    Billy (verified owner)

I actually ordered 2 harnesses, different sizes, for my 2 recently adopted fur babies. When the harnesses arrived they were already set perfectly, I did not have to make any adjustments. The dogs are so comfortable in them and now that they realize the harness means we are going for a walk they get super excited the minute they see them (it’s a little hard to get them on the dogs because they are so excited. But honestly, they go on super easy, I love the cushioned material under their arms to prevent chafing. I am super happy with the product!

I ordered this for my Sheltie Buckles. I had a harness from Julius but Buckles kept backing out of it. After a few scares of him backing out and running down the sidewalk, I stopped walking him as I was terrified of losing him. My sister has an Australian Sheepdog and a Labordoodle and both are in a no freedom harness. She bragged about your product and how safe she felt with her two babies wearing it. I purchased the no freedom harness for Buckles. It was very easy to adjust and to put on. It appears that Buckles is very comfortable in it. I now can walk Buckles again and not worry about losing him. The harness is good quality and worth the money. I totally recommend it. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Works great for our lab. Much better control if/when voice control isn’t enough. Less stress and potential damage to the dog’s windpipe if pulling is your problem.

Shopping with 2Hounds Design was a great experience! I placed the order for this harness, and it arrived more quickly than I expected. That was a definite plus. Moreover, I was pleased with the quality of the harness, and it has made controlling my dog on our neighborhood walks so much better. I then ordered the training leash, which I wish I had done at the outset. I was also very pleased with its design and construction. So we now have an enhanced combination of control and freedom. Two thumbs up!

This is a great harness! It fits so much better than the popular one that is sold around here, due to not having a heavy martingale loop pulling the chest band down in front of the shoulders–this harness rides higher. Short-haired dogs benefit from the soft velveteen belly strap that minimizes chafing. The buckles are up high on the sides instead of right behind the elbow, so there is freer movement and it is easier to see and be sure you’re not pinching hair or skin. I am a trainer and recommend this harness to my clients and students. They are often amazed after trying it just once at how much difference it makes to their walks.

A friend referred me to this site and to purchase this amazing harness. I have a 50lb American Pitbull, she is like a mini linebacker, I needed a durable and strong harness that will help me train her how to appropriately walk on a leash without walking me. Well this harness has shown up, it is very durable and fits my pup very nicely, we are able to go on our long walks without having to stop and correct her from pulling. I definitely recommend this product!

I tried a few other harnesses but none fit my hound well. She’s very tall, thin and deep chested. She weighs about 50 pounds and the medium fits her perfectly. I love the construction of the harness and it’s super easy to get it on her. The velvet strap is a nice touch.

She’s not pulling with this harness and it’s not twisting on her. Very happy

This fits my pulling puppy really well and she has been responding so well in the first few days I’m already impressed! She used to pull straight through her choke collar. But with this I just hold gentle pressure and she stops and turns and looks at me! I love it! I used YouTube for instructions on fitting and use but I would love to see something on this website from the actual company designers. My dog is 70lbs and growing still. I’m only 130 so I’m so very thankful for this beautiful and smart harness!

Love these harnesses! This is my second purchase. Extremely well made in the USA. Easy to put on and it really helps control my very headstrong Doberman! Would highly recommend.
Also purchased the double connect leash, which I think also helps with the control.

This harness is magic!!! I was nearly in tears some days walking my dog because it was such a strain. But this harness has made walking her so easy. No pulling or basically dragging me behind her. It’s worth every penny
