It’s a squirrel and acorn palooza!

It’s a squirrel and acorn palooza! Oak leaves, acorns large and small, and chipper squirrels celebrate Fall in a festival of color on this exclusive, custom-designed 2 Hounds Design ribbon. The teal satin lining unifies and finishes the look.

Choose from premium solid brass or silver hardware. The silver slides are nickel-plated solid brass and the D-ring is nickel-plated welded steel.

Add a matching ribbon-and-velvet leash to complete the set!

This and every collar:

  • Starts with a strong but soft webbing core in a width to match the collar width
  • Encloses the webbing entirely in either crepe- or flannel-backed satin for body and softness on the neck
  • Is securely sewn using industrial strength nylon thread on industrial sewing machines
  • Finished with top-of-the-line hardware.

Proudly Made in the USA

You can wash it in the washing machine by placing the collar in a pillow case and using the gentle cycle OR place it in a sink filled with cold water and detergent.  Let it soak and rinse it well.  Always air dry your collar.

    Good collars

I’ve been buying collars from here for around 10 years. I’ve gotten them for My boxer, Great Danes, and pitbulls. I don’t buy any other collars reallt. I love the martingale collar with Quick release buckle. These collars hold up well and are beautiful. I toss them in the washing machine every couple baths or so to keep them fresh. One thing I’d like to see is the option for a smaller Metal loop for Leashes as these large are Difficult to get tags on. They are kind of large and cumbersome once tags are attached. Also, it would be nice the buckle could somehow be placed in a different location (Near the leash attachment Probably ) so you see more of the design on the collar. I Also recommend not getting the silk material for dogs who are “dirty” and rough on their collars.
I love the vibrant colors of this particular design.

    On my second Squirrel collar!

So, years ago, when my dog was a puppy, I bought the Freedom Harness. Kippy wore the harness until it wore out and began to fray. Along the line, I bought a collar or two. I still have the original collar. Kippy’s original collar had fabulous Chinese embroidery on it, and eventually some of the stitching loosened. I mean, he wore it 24/7 for 4 years. It was time to replace it, and I bought the Squirrel collar. It is perfect for Kippy. Who doesn’t like a good squirrel chase? And the colors are wonderful, and the jewel tone of the lining sets off the whole thing…. Well, 3 years of 24/7 wear and tear, and the ribbon is beginning to be a bit thread bare. I just bought 2 more Squirrel collars – just in case the pattern is discontinued (the horror!), and a leash. We want to be fashionable occasionally. I bought ID tags in the same jewel toned colors…. On our walks here in NYC, it is not unusual for another dog owner to ask me where I got such a great collar, and I always tell them!
