NOTE: Only purchase the chewing warranty if you have an actual chewed Freedom Harness right now!

The replacement warranty is for the harness only and does not cover the training leash.Ā Please let us know if you have a chewed leash.

Hereā€™s how it works:

1. Purchase the warranty (one warranty per harness)

2. Email us at woof@2houndsdesign.com and include the following:

  • A picture of your chewed harness showing the chewed strap and the size tag (the size tag can be found where the middle front strap is sewn around the velvet strap)

  • Confirm the harness color

  • Include your warranty order number in the email, which will be included in your confirmation email once you purchase the warranty
  • You DO NOT need to return the chewed harness to us

We will send your replacement harness in the same size and color!


Please note: One (1) warranty is good for replacing one (1) harness only.

Examples:

-If you have two chewed Freedom No-Pull harnesses that need replacing, you must purchase two warranties.

-If your replacement Freedom No-Pull harness gets chewed and needs replacing, you must purchase another warranty.

Also, purchasing this warranty when buying a new Freedom No-Pull harness is unnecessary. You can buy the warranty whenever you need it.

About the Freedom Harness and Chewing

The nylon webbing used for the Freedom No-Pull harness has a 3800 lb test strength, the same grade used to tow small vehicles. It does not break apart or fray when worn by a dog, no matter how large or strong. However, it can rip if it is chewed on or comes into contact with something sharp.

As the harness is designed for walking your dog, we recommend not leaving it on your dog when you are not actively using it to walk/train him or her. If the harness is on a dog when unattended, it takes only a few seconds for the dog to nip a strap.

*Note: Dirty, outgrown, or lost Freedom No-Pull harnesses are not covered by the warranty.

*Additional Note: The chewing warranty is excluded from all coupons.

    Replacement Harness

    The fact that your company replaces a harness that has been chewed by my beloved though naughty dog is amazing! He usually is not a chewer but we hike a lot and on one particular long hiking day while camping, he gnawed his harness in half in the car! I sewed it as best I could at the campsite for the rest of the trip but knew I needed a new one ASAP. I just love 2 Hounds for adding this feature and will definitely buy more and tell others about their great customer service and Chewing Warranty! Here is a pic of my naughty boy named Dude. :)

    LOVE 2 Hounds Freedom Harness

    All three of my pups have worn 2Hounds Freesom Harness. My latest pup has two, a small wardrobe, and just loves them. He seems ro love his burgundy most, as he has chewed it twice. I am so grateful for this amazing Freedom Harness

    Chewing Warranty as I was able to replace it both times. Such a great program accompanied by amazing customer service!! I am a forever customer.

    Lifesaver!!!

    So grateful for this option! My young rescue chewed through my late dogā€™s freedom harness and then through her own brand new one within weeks of purchase. I misunderstood the warranty the first time around so I tossed the harness, but the second time around I reread it again, and reached out to customer service to verify. They were so quick to respond and so helpful. Purchasing and utilizing the warranty was so quick and easy. The replacement arrived within a week! I had purchased a few harnesses in the meantime trying to find something that would work for our girl and nothing worked out. I did ultimately end up going with something else sturdier but this came in handy in a pinch and hopefully we will get more use out of it when she gets older.

    I recommend 2 Hounds to everyone I know. This harness was the only harness I could find that fit my pointer / setter mix perfectly due to her funky sizing (very skinny neck and barrel chest) Their leashes are great too!!

    I hope that maybe in the future they will make a 1ā€ in size Small. The 5/8ā€ feels like it isnā€™t strong enough for a hard puller and the way she chewed through it so quickly was alarming.

    We love 2 Hounds harnesses!

    Our poor foster golden was going thru her 2nd and third heartworm treatment shots and had to stay at the vet clinic overnight.. they forgot to take her harness off and she ate through it with her vet anxiety. 2 Hounds chew warranty allowed us to get a replacement. Of course she needed one in the meantime to stay safe! So now we have two in different colors. She loves her harness ! Thank you!
