Start Here: Measure Your Dog’s Chest
Use a soft tape measure and wrap it around the widest part of your dog’s chest, just behind the front legs.

- 5/8" Small: 20–24" (approx 25–35 lbs)

A Quick Note on Weight (Because Everyone Asks 😊)
Those weight ranges? They’re just guidelines. Dogs are built all kinds of ways—deep chests, slim builds, fluff for days—so chest measurement is always the most accurate way to get the right fit. If your dog is between sizes, we recommend choosing the smallest size that still fits your dog.

Fit Tips for Better Walks
- The chest strap should sit right behind the front legs
- You should be able to fit two fingers under the straps
- Snug, not tight—your dog should move freely and comfortably
A good fit = less pulling, more relaxed walks, and a happier dog (and human). If you’re unsure, we’ve got you. There is a chat box to the right if you are on a computer or

The Right Leash Makes This Work Even Better
Your harness does the work, but the right leash helps you communicate more clearly with your dog. Both the Training Leash and Euro Leash can be used as a double-connection leash with the Freedom Harness—connecting to both the front chest ring and back martingale loop at the same time for better guidance and control.
Training Leash
Best for dogs still learning
Designed for simple, effective communication during walks and training.- Recommended setup for the Freedom Harness
- Connects to the front and back of the harness at the same time
- Helps reduce pulling with clearer guidance and feedback
- Can also be used as a standard single-connection leash
Many customers start here if their dog pulls or they want more control on walks.
Euro Leash
Best for everyday flexibility
Includes all the functionality of the Training Leash, plus additional ways to walk and manage your dog comfortably.- Can be used as a double-connection leash with the Freedom Harness
- Detachable handle creates a short traffic leash for close control
- Can be worn around the waist or over the shoulder for temporary hands-free walking
- Adjustable configurations from short control to longer relaxed walks
A great option for dogs who already walk fairly well or for owners who want more versatility in how they walk.
Not Sure?
- Choose the Training Leash if your dog pulls or is still learning
- Choose the Euro Leash if you want more flexibility for everyday walking
Many customers use both—one for training and one for more relaxed walks—depending on the situation.

How & Why It Works
The Freedom No-Pull Harness is designed to improve communication between you and your dog—without choking, pinching, or relying on pain. Instead of creating a tug-of-war, the Freedom Harness helps guide your dog’s movement more naturally for calmer, more comfortable walks.
What Your Dog Feels
The patented martingale loop on the back of the harness tightens gently when your dog pulls, applying soft pressure around the chest—similar to a calming “hug.” The front connection helps redirect your dog’s chest and shoulders back toward you instead of allowing them to lean forward with their full body weight. Because the pressure is distributed across the chest and torso—not the throat—the harness is designed to be both effective and comfortable without choking your dog or restricting movement.
What You Experience
Traditional back-clip harnesses often create a straight-line pulling match:dog pulls → human pulls backThe Freedom Harness changes those mechanics. Using both the front and back connection points helps distribute pulling force across multiple directions instead of one straight line. That means:
- less leverage for pulling
- smoother redirection
- better communication
- and less strain on both you and your dog
Better communication.
Better walks.
