NOTE: Only purchase the chewing warranty if you have an actual chewed Freedom Harness right now!

The replacement warranty is for the harness only and does not cover the training leash. Please let us know if you have a chewed leash.

Here’s how it works:

1. Purchase the warranty (one warranty per harness)

2. Email us at woof@2houndsdesign.com and include the following:

  • A picture of your chewed harness showing the chewed strap and the size tag (the size tag can be found where the middle front strap is sewn around the velvet strap)

  • Confirm the harness color

  • Include your warranty order number in the email, which will be included in your confirmation email once you purchase the warranty
  • You DO NOT need to return the chewed harness to us

 

We will send your replacement harness in the same size and color!


Please note: One (1) warranty is good for replacing one (1) harness only.

Examples:

-If you have two chewed Freedom No-Pull harnesses that need replacing, you must purchase two warranties.

-If your replacement Freedom No-Pull harness gets chewed and needs replacing, you must purchase another warranty.

Also, purchasing this warranty when buying a new Freedom No-Pull harness is unnecessary. You can buy the warranty whenever you need it.

About the Freedom Harness and Chewing

The nylon webbing used for the Freedom No-Pull harness has a 3800 lb test strength, the same grade used to tow small vehicles. It does not break apart or fray when worn by a dog, no matter how large or strong. However, it can rip if it is chewed on or comes into contact with something sharp.

As the harness is designed for walking your dog, we recommend not leaving it on your dog when you are not actively using it to walk/train him or her. If the harness is on a dog when unattended, it takes only a few seconds for the dog to nip a strap.

*Note: Dirty, outgrown, or lost Freedom No-Pull harnesses are not covered by the warranty.

*Additional Note: The chewing warranty is excluded from all coupons.

    Piranha Pup

    Our two year old Irish Red and White Setter Mia chewed through her leash and harness when we took our eyes off of her for a minute. Never fear the warranty kicked in and replaced the harness. A half price leash was also offered. This is excellent customer service backing up an awesome product.

    Excellent Customer Support!

    Our Trex of a Pitty puppy has managed to chewy through every harness we've purchased. Two Hounds was no exception but they were the only company to offer a very reasonable replacement option! The process was simple and easy to navigate. Customer service was quick to respond and delivery time was impressive! We couldn't be happier with the new harness and the overall experience we've had with Two Hounds!!

    Much Appreciated!

    I very much appreciate this warranty option on your harnesses. The interaction was pleasant & seamless. My only suggestion for sustainability would be to enable an option to return the materials for refurbished use.

    A roundabout route to surprise...

    ...which led to a happy tail. Warning, I'm 74 and don't have any 'short stories' anymore... ;)

    Spouse & self visited Patton Ave. Pet to get LuLuBelle, our 'inherited' potential Am Pitt Terrier mash-up a suitable harness and leash as she pulls on the standard collar/leash combi like a small bulldozer. We purchased a Freedom Harness to see if it would tame her tendency to turn you into one of the cans behind a 'just married' departing car. It worked! *Yay!* ....and left the box at the store....

    Made the error of leaving it on her overnight. And she chewed her way out of it....

    Went back to PAP to buy a replacement, and discovered the Chewing Warranty in the box.

    Way kewl ! Bought warranty online, sent pics of the evidence, and received a matching replacement harness in 3 days, quick and slick since we and 2 Hounds are only 150 mi. apart. It's nice being close.... ;)

    PAP was gracious in not only accepting the 2nd bought harness back, but allowed the replacements' credit to be applied to a 2nd new harness for our CoCoPup, a Boykin Spaniel/Dachshund mix who also has earth-moving tendencies. CCPup is currently and throughout all the above is near Salem, MA with his dog mom and will return shortly to his new accoutrement...

    Is everyone Happy? You bet.

    Great harness, great warranty, great service. A rare birddog in this rattled era...
