  • Start Here: Measure Your Dog’s Chest

Use a soft tape measure and wrap it around the widest part of your dog’s chest, just behind the front legs.

Quick Size Guide (Use Chest Measurement for the best fit)

    • 3/8" XXSmall(Mini): 13-16" (approx 6-15 lbs)
    • 5/8" XSmall: 14–20" (approx 15–25 lbs)
    • 5/8" Small: 20–24" (approx 25–35 lbs)
    • 5/8" Medium: 24–28" (approx 30–40 lbs)
    • 1" Medium: 24–28" (approx 40–60 lbs)
    • 1" Large: 28–32" (approx 60–85 lbs)
    • 1" XLarge: 32–36" (approx 85–130 lbs)
    • 1" XXLarge: 36–44" (125+ lbs)

A Quick Note on Weight (Because Everyone Asks 😊)

Those weight ranges? They’re just guidelines. Dogs are built all kinds of ways—deep chests, slim builds, fluff for days—so chest measurement is always the most accurate way to get the right fit. If your dog is between sizes, we recommend choosing the size where their measurement falls comfortably in the middle of the range.

    Fit Tips for Better Walks

    • The chest strap should sit right behind the front legs
    • You should be able to fit two fingers under the straps
    • Snug, not tight—your dog should move freely and comfortably

A good fit = less pulling, more relaxed walks, and a happier dog (and human). If you’re unsure, we’ve got you. There is a chatbox to the right if you are on a computer or you can Contact Us with any questions.

  • The Right Leash Makes This Work Even Better

Your harness does the work, but the right leash helps you communicate more clearly with your dog. Both the Training Leash and Euro Leash can be used as a double-connection leash with the Freedom Harness—connecting to both the front chest ring and back martingale loop at the same time for better guidance and control.

    Training Leash

    Best for dogs still learning
Designed for simple, effective communication during walks and training.

    • Recommended setup for the Freedom Harness
    • Connects to the front and back of the harness at the same time
    • Helps reduce pulling with clearer guidance and feedback
    • Can also be used as a standard single-connection leash

Many customers start here if their dog pulls or they want more control on walks.

    Euro Leash

    Best for everyday flexibility
Includes all the functionality of the Training Leash, plus additional ways to walk and manage your dog comfortably.

    • Can be used as a double-connection leash with the Freedom Harness
    • Detachable handle creates a short traffic leash for close control
    • Can be worn around the waist or over the shoulder for temporary hands-free walking
    • Adjustable configurations from short control to longer relaxed walks

A great option for dogs who already walk fairly well or for owners who want more versatility in how they walk.

    Not Sure?

    • Choose the Training Leash if your dog pulls or is still learning
    • Choose the Euro Leash if you want more flexibility for everyday walking

Many customers use both—one for training and one for more relaxed walks—depending on the situation.

  • How & Why It Works

The Freedom No-Pull Harness is designed to improve communication between you and your dog—without choking, pinching, or relying on pain. Instead of creating a tug-of-war, the Freedom Harness helps guide your dog’s movement more naturally for calmer, more comfortable walks.

    What Your Dog Feels

The patented martingale loop on the back of the harness tightens gently when your dog pulls, applying soft pressure around the chest—similar to a calming “hug.” The front connection helps redirect your dog’s chest and shoulders back toward you instead of allowing them to lean forward with their full body weight. Because the pressure is distributed across the chest and torso—not the throat—the harness is designed to be both effective and comfortable without choking your dog or restricting movement.

    What You Experience

Traditional back-clip harnesses often create a straight-line pulling match:dog pulls → human pulls backThe Freedom Harness changes those mechanics. Using both the front and back connection points helps distribute pulling force across multiple directions instead of one straight line. That means:

    • less leverage for pulling
    • smoother redirection
    • better communication
    • and less strain on both you and your dog

    Better communication.
    Better walks.

  • You can wash it in the washing machine by placing the harness in a pillow case and using the gentle cycle OR place the harness in a sink filled with cold water and detergent.  Let it soak and rinse it well.  Always air dry your harness.

Well made with beautiful vibrant collars

We did a lot of research before purchasing a harness for our 50 lb mix bully, Nova. She has learned to walk nicely through the last year with a gentle leader, and we wanted to train her to walk with a harness to open up more freedom.

Pros: The freedom harness is very well made, including the padded velvety belly strap, stitching and hardware. It sort of feels like dressing a harness to a horse, and jingles like on when we walk, but it is very securely fitted.

Nova occasionally pulls HARD to meet other dogs, and I feel completely secure that she's in my control at my side as we use the two-clip shorter training lead, so she's learning how to politely pass other dogs.

Cons: We're still working on fitting the harness properly - the videos online and the pamphlet included don't explain at all how the fitment should be other than the generic "two finger rule" around the middle. The front still gaps on the close side when she pulls hard away to the side, but if we make it any tighter in the front, the clips dig into her armpits. It's possible that the belly strap will need to keep being re-adjusted because it seems to slip loose after a few walks.

Overall I recommend this harness after having other large breeds who could pull amazing Houdini escapes. It's well made and beautiful and as good a harness as we've found.

    Freedom Harness

Not gonna lie, I was so confused on how to put it on. But I also didn’t see there were directions, which were a life saver. So thanks for that. It’s literally puppy proof. He’s a chewer and he can’t get to it when it’s on to chew. We tried a different one and he managed to fight his way out of it and chew it. It has very durable, high quality material. It’s very cute. I was impressed with how far we’re able to adjust it, both making it smaller and bigger. Definitely worth it.

The harness works great and it doesn’t rub my dog’s skin raw. Plus it’s very pretty!
