  • You can wash it in the washing machine by placing the leash in a pillow case and using the gentle cycle OR place it in a sink filled with cold water and detergent.  Let it soak and rinse it well.  Always air dry your leash.

We’ve been making velvet collars lined with satin for years, but now you can custom design your own! Want a Navy Blue with silver lining for Hannukah? Want your favorite team colors? Or just really like a specific color combination? Let’s do it!

Choose your hardware!  Pick the look that suits your style — premium solid brass for a classic finish, or silver (nickel-plated brass) for a sleek, modern touch.  

If you select a side-release or buckle martingale style, your collar will feature a moulded black nylon Weinerlock buckle for strength and reliability.  

Heads up: The 2″ collar is available only as a martingale — bigger buckles just don’t make the cut for our comfort or style standards.  

Every collar we make:  

  • Starts with a strong, soft webbing on the inside for comfy wear
  • Is wrapped in silky crepe-backed satin for that extra touch of luxury—smooth on fur, easy on the eyes
  • Is stitched with industrial-strength nylon thread (these collars don’t mess around!)  
  • Finished with top-quality hardware that’s made to last  
  • Made with love in the USA

1. These collars are custom made just for you and can’t be exchanged or returned. So make sure you measure carefully before ordering!

2. The velvet colors listed in the drop down menu will match the colors you see in our Velvet Leashes category. Not all colors shown in leashes are available in the wider widths, if it isn’t on this page, it isn’t available.

3. Sorry, we don’t have photos of the individual lining colors.

    Love 2 hounds

    This is my second collar and I love them. I got a second one just to have two of different collars. These last forever and are great quality. Super soft too, and I LOVE the martingale with the buckle! Can give my dogs a break from their collars at night or slip them off for baths easily without all adjusting regular martingales require. Perfect for my pit/lab mix and Italian greyhound. I also have the harness/leashes and love those too, especially for my muscular pit/lab. They are pricey collars but worth every penny for us.
