No force, no pain.  Just an enjoyable walk with your dog!

Clear

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a patented control loop on the back of the harness which tightens gently around your dog’s chest to discourage pulling behavior and makes walking your dog an easy, more enjoyable experience for both of you.  It also features a structural connection ring on the front of the harness.  Connecting to this ring is optional, but recommended, as it allows you to attach to the front and back of the harness simultaneously.  Used this way, you are able to control pulling and redirect your dog’s attention back to you for training and treats.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a Swiss velvet-lined chest strap to help prevent rubbing and chafing behind the front legs.  The stainless steel hardware used on the harness will never rust or corrode, and the webbing can literally be used to tow cars.  It will not break or fray, no matter how hard your dog pulls.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness is designed to fit any dog from 14 lbs all the way up to 250+ lbs.

Sizing

It comes in two widths:

5/8” for smaller dogs under 40 lbs – Dachshunds, Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, Jack Russel Terriers, Beagles, Miniature Schnauzers, etc.

1” for larger dogs over 40 lbs – Boxers, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Greyhounds, German Shepherds, Basset Hounds, Pit Bulls, Great Danes, etc.

To measure your dog for the harness, use a soft measuring tape (or a piece of string) and measure all the way around the largest part of your dog’s chest.  Choose the SMALLEST size that fits within that measurement.

Multiple Leash Attachment Options!

Training Leash

The training leash is designed to be used in conjunction with the Freedom No-Pull Harness. It provides additional control points, which evenly distributes pressure.  It has a permanently attached “floating” handle, allowing the leash to be used in multiple configurations:

  • Connect to the front and the back of the harness simultaneously.
  • Connect to just the front or the back of the harness.
  • Connect to the harness and a collar at the same time.

When connected to two points the training leash is 3′ long including the floating handle, and 4′ long when attached to a single point.  As the name suggests, this shorter leash is especially useful for training.

Euro Leash

The Euro leash is just like the training leash but is 6′ long when connected to both attachments, and 8′ long when connected to a single point.  The handle is removable and can be used separately. The Euro leash can be used in the following configurations:

  • 8″ Traffic handle all by itself.
  • Fold leash in half. Clip one end of leash to your dog’s collar or harness and the other end to the stationary ring. Clip the Traffic Handle to the floating ring. This makes a 4′ lead.
  • To create a 2 foot leash, continue from step two, slide the floating O-ring towards you and reconnect it to the bolt snap that is connected to your dog’s collar.
  • Place lead around shoulder/back and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands-free lead.
  • Place lead around waist and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands-free lead.
  • To keep your dog close and safe while sitting stationary with him/her, simply attach leash to your dog and wrap the handle end of leash around a pole, fence post, railing or small tree and attach both snaps in the handle to the floating o-ring. (use this method only while remaining with your dog)

Nylon Leash

The nylon leash is a standard 4′ or 6′ leash with one connection and an adjustable handle.

Proudly made in the USA!

You can wash it in the washing machine by placing the harness in a pillow case and using the gentle cycle OR place the harness in a sink filled with cold water and detergent.  Let it soak and rinse it well.  Always air dry your harness.

I really like this harness. It’s a nice touch to have the extra velvety fabric on the straps beneath the arms. I like the blue color. And my poodle (standard) responded well to the concept on walks (he is 6 months old and still learning how to walk nicely).

    Game Changer!

    Erica Maute (verified owner)

This harness has greatly reduced the amount of times my shepherd/lab mix pulls or cuts me off on walks. I’ve been struggling for years to train my dog to walk next to me but not with this harness! My dog is anxious/fear aggressive and was hesitant when I tried to get the harness on him. Once he realized what it was for, he was totally fine with it- wasn’t biting or pawing at it.

Unfortunately this made my pup pull 5x more with it on than without. I know it’s to be used as a tool with training but this one made it impossible. I’ll have to stick to other options.

Size wise, I must have not gotten a good measurement because it was initially too big. Waited a few weeks and it fit then but had no success.

    Love it!

I got this for my dog when we are in unfamiliar environments because she has a tendency to choke herself. She is 50 pounds and measures 28 around her chest but I was still able to size the medium down a bit, so definitely size down if you’re in between sizes. It fits her great and I LOVE the velvet on the bottom strap. Our first walk in it was an hour and no rubbing!

Doesn’t stop pulling but helps training

    Taylor (verified owner)

This harness doesn’t really “stop” pulling as it claims. However, it does make controlling my 4 year old rescue pit much easier. It is easier for me to pull him back if needed. He also doesn’t mind it being put on at all. We still need to do a lot of training with him as he is very dog reactive. This harness gives me some peace of mind knowing he won’t slip away like with a regular collar and leash!

    Perfect for our GSD

    carolyn (verified owner)

The XL is perfect for our 80-lb GSD mix. The harness is comfortable for her and the front and chest connection points help her not pull so much while she’s learning to walk nicely. Overall, this harness is great quality, especially for the price.

We got turquoise for our light brown girl, it looks great on her. This is the fourth harness purchased from 2 hounds design…we only use the no pull harness for our dogs. They walk nice as a pack. With the leash after they’re well trained can be hooked on two dogs at once. Makes the walk relaxing for us and our k9s.

    Pros and cons

    Laurie

Our trainer gave us this harness. Our dog requires an easy on/off harness because he doesn’t like the process. He doesn’t mind it at all once it’s on. Unfortunately the harness isn’t super water friendly. After getting wet one time and hanging on a hook to dry, the velvet part is covered in mold. The nylon has some mold too. It’s a great harness for our neighborhood walks but not for outdoorsy activities.

A Must If Your Dog Pulls

    Jana (verified owner)

Our Goldendoodle puppy pulls like a husky pulling a sled. We could not teach her to stop.
When we used this harness, no pulling. Now I actually walk with Ria and we both enjoy it. Great product, company and customer service.

Our dog’s trainer recommended the Freedom No-Pull Dog Harness for us to use as we train our dog to overcome her fear-based aggressive behavior. Hollie now knows when the harness comes out, it is time for a fun training walk. She seems comfortable wearing it. She never struggles to brush it off–like she has done with another product we have used to prevent her from pulling when we walk her–and the harness seems to fit her deep chest well. The training leash allows me to give her some additional freedom or to keep her close to me with good control, when I need to respond quickly to her behavior. The stitching and details of the harness look well constructed, and the turquoise color nicely sets off Hollie’s ginger coat.

Great bright color for walking the dogs. I had one for the dog I adopted back in June, so I decided to get my parents a few for their dogs. These harnesses work great, and made of quality material. You definitely can’t go wrong with it! Great company as well!

The no pull harness is helping us to train our whippet puppy not to pull or lunge when greeted.

    Scratch marks and no reply

This harness, in concept, seems great. We bought it based on our vet’s recommendation. We bought the appropriate size and adjusted it based on the website’s instructions to fit our pup. After just a couple of walks, she ended up with bright red marks on her chest from it – the material rubbed her skin raw 🙁 I emailed the company hoping for a response last week and still haven’t heard back. It just isn’t the right harness for our dog.
