Alisha:
I was not satisfied on two points:
1. The leash was undersized for my Husky...and being 81 years old, the clips were two small and hard to operate with elderly hands. I don't recall a size option. Although being too small, the leash seems sturdy enough for a big dog and was well made.
2.My Husky is a puller! Aspen is a 2-year-old surrender dog and was not leash trained so I am in the process of correcting that. I bought the leash thinking the two leash design it would help. I had found out that attaching a single leash to the chest ring of her 2-hounds Halter (which we like very much) turned her when she pulls and eased the pulling. Using the double correction leash did not do as well. The problem seemed to be the equalizer ring at the handle. I corrected that somewhat by tying the two
leashes together at the handle, making one longer than the other. I attached the shortest one to her
Halter chest ring and the longer one to her back ring....essentially eliminating the equalizer ring. This works as well as the single leash did ...turning the dog when she pulls hard which discourages her from pulling. My suggestion would be to make the Equalizer ring adjustable and lockable. I think you might have something then.
On the other hand I may not be using the Double Correction Leash as intended . If that is the case I need educated as to its usage. An instruction sheet would have been helpful.
At any rate I gave the Double Correction leash 3 stars because it is made…
