  • You can wash it in the washing machine by placing the collar in a pillow case and using the gentle cycle OR place it in a sink filled with cold water and detergent.  Let it soak and rinse it well.  Always air dry your collar.

If you select a side-release or buckle martingale style, your collar will feature a molded black nylon Weinerlock buckle for strength and reliability.  

Heads up: The 2″ collar is available only as a martingale — bigger buckles just don’t meet our comfort or style standards.  

The 1" width option is constructed without the contrasting solid color grosgrain border.

    Birthday collar

    I like to have a collar for every occasion for my dog, Rocks, so we are saving this one for his first birthday. As always, they are well made with beautiful fabrics. I would love to see even more great fabric choices--like the old satins you used to carry. I'll attach a photo of Rocks wearing another 2 hounds collar that was passed down from Chauncey before him and Shadow before that. We keep a drawer full so we have one for every mood and occasion and they make my dog happy, they make me happy and they are the best I have found in decades of owning afghan hounds.
