The training leash is designed to be used in conjunction with the Freedom No-Pull Harness and provides additional control points. When connected to two points the training leash is 3ā€² long including the floating handle, and 5ā€² long when attached to a single point. Multiple color options are available.

The training leash is designed to be used in conjunction with the Freedom No-Pull Harness. It provides additional control points, which evenly distributes pressure. It has a permanently attached ā€œfloatingā€ handle, allowing the leash to be used in multiple configurations:

  1. Connect to the front and the back of the harness simultaneously.
  2. Connect to just the front or the back of the harness.
  3. Connect to the harness and a collar at the same time.

When connected to two points the training leash is 3ā€² long including the floating handle, and 5ā€² long when attached to a single point. As the name suggests, this shorter leash is especially useful for training.

    Great product

    I have a 70 pound American Bully- around 3 years old.

    I tried a regular harness and leash and was having trouble controlling him. This gives me much more control (I am 73 and weigh 105) which I need.

    Training Leash Review

    We were surprised the training leash is so thin. It feels "wimpy", actually, and we wondered if it might break if one of our dogs decides to suddenly try to chase a rabbit. The handle feels especially thin and inadequate. We live out in the country and this could happen during any morning walk. Fortunately, we had purchased other longer leashes from you several months ago and we were able to unhook the handles from those leashes and attach them to the new shorter leash. We tried them this morning and the leashes feel more secure in our hands with the thicker handles. Now the original handles look like a colorful decoration. We have a 55 lb. Basset Hound and a 48 lb. Border Collie mix and the training leashes with their original handles don't feel strong enough to "hold" them.

    training leash

    My only complaint with this leash is that it is a bit short. I would add a 12 to 16 inches to it so as when we clip the dog on the back and in front of the harness it gives us more space between the dog and the owner. Other than that it is fine.

    Love this leash!

    It's tougher than my Boxer, Mr. Bean! So it does the trick and well.
