  • You can wash it in the washing machine by placing the collar in a pillow case and using the gentle cycle OR place it in a sink filled with cold water and detergent.  Let it soak and rinse it well.  Always air dry your collar.

Heads up: The 2″ collar is available only as a martingale — bigger buckles just don’t make the cut for our comfort or style standards.

    Velvet collar and leash

    Good looking pattern. I just expected the collar to be of better quality. It seems so thin and to put it mildly flimsy. I readout thi k it will hold up. I bought a 2 inch because I have a power breed so I really needed a sturdy collar. I assumed for the price of it I would be getting a product that would last more than a month or so. Also,I don't know why they sent me a flimsy 5/8 leash with a 2 inch collar. I changed it to 1 inch 4 ft velvet brass leash several times when ordering. The website kept jumping around. I am very displeased about that. It feels like it's made out of paper and definitely won't hold my power breed. Just all together let down. The packing up and shipping out takes forever as well. And you think for the price it would come in a little more than a thin plastic envelope. Just all together let down by this shipment this time.

    Hi there! I'm so sorry that you were disappointed! I will say that the webbing that we use is light weight, but it is a polypro webbing core inside the collar that is much stronger than even the hardware itself (that webbing is also used for tie down straps and even to tow cars!). The collar is made using solid brass hardware and should hold up beautifully.

    Disappointed!

    The collar is beautiful and my dog looks like a little prince in it, but unfortunately there was a pulled piece of thread when I received it.
