  • You can wash it in the washing machine by placing the collar in a pillow case and using the gentle cycle OR place it in a sink filled with cold water and detergent.  Let it soak and rinse it well.  Always air dry your collar.

Choose your hardware!  Pick the look that suits your style — premium solid brass for a classic finish, or silver (nickel-plated brass) for a sleek, modern touch.  

If you select a side-release or buckle martingale style, your collar will feature a moulded black nylon Weinerlock buckle for strength and reliability.  

Heads up: The 2″ collar is available only as a martingale — bigger buckles just don’t make the cut for our comfort or style standards.  

Every collar we make:  

  • Starts with a strong, soft webbing on the inside for comfy wear
  • Is wrapped in silky crepe-backed satin for that extra touch of luxury—smooth on fur, easy on the eyes
  • Is stitched with industrial-strength nylon thread (these collars don’t mess around!)

    Love our pink plaid martingale

    Very well made. I actually ordered 6 or 7 in total but I messed up and somehow missed picking martingale on all but 1.

    So, the one that I got is darling.

    If I want to send them back and exchange for the martingale there is a fee of $64.99 and they will pay shipping.

    If I want a refund I will have to ship back on my own.

    I don’t mind paying for shipping and I understand ( because they told me) that they make them upon order.

    I already spent over $220 I think.

    Communication isn’t great and a time frame of ETA if I pay the extra $64.99 will not be addressed. Well as of late.

    Anyway, darling and well made product. Just be vigilant of type/color/metal/size etc when placing your order.

    Beautiful

    My dog looks amazing in this gorgeous collar with matching leash. The collar we chose was a buckle martingale and it's already kept her from slipping out like she would with a normal collar. When we took the dog to the vet and I handed the leash to the vet, she said, "wow that's actually got some heft to it!" She thought because it was so fashionable that it would be poorly made but that's not how 2 Hounds operates. Highly recommend.

    Lovely collar

    I wanted a wide collar and this is perfect!

    2 inches wide and no tention on my pup's neck as she learns to walk on a loose leash -- and in style as well!

    Since 2 Hounds had such a variety of designs I was able to find a plaid for each of my three dogs.
