  • You can wash it in the washing machine by placing the collar in a pillow case and using the gentle cycle OR place it in a sink filled with cold water and detergent.  Let it soak and rinse it well.  Always air dry your collar.

Choose your hardware!  Pick the look that suits your style — premium solid brass for a classic finish, or silver (nickel-plated brass) for a sleek, modern touch.  

If you select a side-release or buckle martingale style, your collar will feature a moulded black nylon Weinerlock buckle for strength and reliability.  

Heads up: The 2″ collar is available only as a martingale — bigger buckles just don’t make the cut for our comfort or style standards.

    Cute but wish it were a smidge different

    We purchased a large version of the martingale buckle in satin in for one of our dogs and loved it, so when we needed a collar for our new puppy I went straight to the 2 hounds website. We ordered a velvet martingale buckle in small and unfortunately the slip part of the collar is attached directly to plastic buckle instead of having n additional piece of fabric / metal sliddy thing and with the velvet it doesn't slid very well through the plastic. I believe this is only in the smaller sizes probably due to lack of space on the collar. Still love the collar but in hind sight may have just done the regular collar in velvet and skipped the martingale. Really cute and well made though.
